how to run copper pipe through studs

It has to run horizontally along a wall, going through ten studs, each 16" apart. I have drilled the holes through these studs already, but there is a problem.

Use a stainless steel hose clamp (sometimes called a worm clamp becasue of the screw it uses) and a couple of L-brackets - clamp the L-brackets to the pipe using the hose clamp, screw them into the wall with wood screws. Well, nere's a more fundamental question: When running hard copper pipe through the middle of a long wall, or (worse yet) a 1 1/2" or 2" ABS drain/vent line, how do you snake the rigid pipe down the line of holes in the studs?
